The Indoor Pool (Open year-round) is an eight lane pool, which offers something for everyone: Swim Lessons, Water Fitness, Swim Team, Open Swim and Lap Swim. For more information please refer to your seasonal program brochure. If you did not receive one in the mail please stop by the Rakow Center at 665 Barrington Ave. in Carpentersville or Randall Oaks Recreation Center at 500 N. Randall Rd. in West Dundee to pick up a brochure or download it by clicking the brochure image located in the left column of this page.

*For all three of our facilities there are residents and nonresidents fees. In order to receive the resident rate, all residents must show proof of residency of Dundee Township.

Indoor Pool Pass

Passes are on sale and are valid until May 31, 2013. They may be used both at open and lap swim. Please purchase passes at the front desk of the Rakow Center. Don't forget to check out our Summer Pool Pass.

Stroke Clinic

An optional 2-week class session that is divided into different levels based on the swimmer’s skills. The goal of the clinic is to enhance and further develop stroke technique and ability.

Dundee Junior Dolphin Pre-Swim Team (Ages 6-14)

This team is perfect for the swimmer who has been through all levels of lessons but does not have swim team experience. You will build endurance, refine stroke techniques and be in a team setting. Two time trials will be held to see improvement. Participants will receive a Dolphin swimming cap.

Dundee Dolphins Swim Team

Dundee Township Park District is the sponsor of an age group swim team, Dundee Dolphins. It is a team of USA Swimming registered swimmers between the ages of 6-18 that train and compete locally. Head Coach Young Le brings more than 30 years experience coaching age group swimming.

Dundee Dolphins offers instruction and training in competitive swimming 10-1/2 months a year that are structured to fit the needs of Novice to Nationally Ranked swimmer. As a team we train and compete in Short Course (25 yards/meters) from September-March and in Long Course (25/50 meters) April-July at the Dundee Township Park District indoor pool. Swimmers can swim one season, part of a season or both seasons. Swimmers can join the team anytime. There is a program break after each season, 2-weeks in the spring and 4-weeks during August. Team T-shirt and cap are provided each season.

Dundee Dolphins participate in Intramural Meets (I-Squad) once a month, and USA Swimming Travel Meets (T-Squad Meets) once every 3 to 4 weeks.
