About Our Program

Rainbow Castle provides a full-time quality child care for children two to six years of age. Our trustworthy staff is DCFS certified, and ensures a positive, nurturing environment where your children can feel comfortable. Our advantage over other centers is that we offer competitive pricing, long term staff and are connected to the Rakow Center, which is used for most activities. We also use the gym in inclement weather and go to Dolphin Cove Family Aquatic Center (during the summer), also connected to the Rakow Center, once a week. Rainbow Castle is located at 665 Barrington Avenue Carpentersville, IL.

Hours: 6:30 am-6:00 pm
Days: Monday-Friday, all year, except holidays, including: Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day & the Friday following Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve Day, Christmas Day, New Year’s Day, Memorial Day & Independence Day
Weekly Fees:
$210 for 2 & 3 year olds
$200 for 3 & 4 year olds
$195 for 4 & 5 year olds & Kindergarten
In addition, there is a $40/child registration fee

Registration Requirements

Each child must have had a medical exam, no more than 6 months prior to entry. It must include a TB test, lead assessment and Varicella vaccine.
All medical shots must be up to date.
Children must be toilet trained in 3-4-5 year old classes.
Copy of birth certificate.
Kindergarteners must have a vision exam by a licensed eye doctor and a dental exam.

Kindergarten at Rainbow Castle

Rainbow Castle provides an in-house kindergarten program for children who are five years old by September 1, 2013. The program, designed to prepare children for first grade, meets for 2 ½ hours each day. Report cards, conferences and graduation are all part of our kindergarten program. Since class size is much smaller than that of a public school, your child receives more attention, and learning is easier in a small group setting.
