Junior Golf

Junior Golf Randall Oaks Golf Club and the Dundee Township Park District offer a variety of programs for Jr. Golfers including clinics, camps and tournaments. We encourage all Jr. Golfers to take advantage of our Links Learning Center and Acorn Course. It’s a great opportunity to simulate the on-course experience minus the challenges and pressure of the main golf course. Jr. Golf Clinics

The Jr. Clinics at Randall Oaks Golf Club provide an introduction to the game of golf for juniors of all ages. Topics covered in this program include putting, chipping, and the full-swing with both irons and metal woods. The Jr. Clinic program meets in one week sessions. Jr. Development Program

The Randall Oaks Jr. Developmental Program is an intermediate program designed to build on the topics covered in the Junior Clinics while also providing expanded knowledge on topics like full swing, short game, bunker play, course management, and rules & etiquette. The Jr. Development Program also creates an opportunity for juniors to take the knowledge they have gained and apply it on-course every week! Each student will receive a Nike Golf hat & Nike Golf shirt on the first day of the program. The Jr. Development Program meets for eight weeks and is separated into two age groups. Jr. Golf Camps

The Jr. Golf Camps at Randall Oaks Golf Club are the most advanced Jr. instructional program we have to offer. Instruction will be focused on full swing and short game mechanics with the aide of video swing analysis software. Juniors enrolled in this program will also have the opportunity to play golf on-course each day and learn the rules & etiquette of the game and bunker play. Each junior will receive a Nike Golf hat & Nike Golf shirt on the first day of camp and lunch will be provided daily. The Jr. Camp program meets in one week sessions. Bonnie Dundee Jr. Golf Prep League

This league is open to boys and girls 8th grade or freshmen in High School who are preparing for High School Golf teams. An instructor will be available to help students work on their game. Instruction prior to the round will take place to cover specific areas of the game. This class is not for beginners. Players should have their own set of clubs and have had experience playing.

Jr. Golf Open House - May 8

The Junior Golf Open House is designed for those parents and juniors who have a desire to find out more about the upcoming season’s Junior Golf programs and activities. The Randall Oaks Golf Staff will be on hand to answer questions and assist in program selection. This is also a great opportunity to take a first-hand look at the latest and greatest offerings in junior golf clubs, shoes and so much more! Our experience Golf Professionals will be on-hand to fit your junior golfer into the appropriate set of golf clubs, so that their game can thrive.

Dundee Jr. Open Golf Tournament - August 7 & 9

The Dundee Junior Open is an annual event for kids ages 6-14, in 2012 it will be contested August 7th & 9th. This is a fun event that is the culmination of our summer Junior Golf offerings. The event is flighted by age group, with the younger ages playing the Acorn and Links Course and the older ages playing the regulation course at Randall Oaks.
