Programs for Youth & Teens

Dundee Township Park District offers many programs and activities for youth and teens including bowling, magic class, cooking class, martial arts, horseback riding and much more. For a full list of programs being offered please refer to your seasonal program brochure. If you did not receive one in the mail please stop by the Rakow Center at 665 Barrington Ave. in Carpentersville to pick up a brochure or download it by clicking the brochure image located in the left column of this page. Listed below are additional programs offered for Youth and Teens:

Saturday Live!
8-12 years

You’ll have a blast listening or dancing to your favorite hits and participating in cool activities like basketball, wallyball, dodgeball, swimming in our indoor pool, dance contests, games and more! We’ll also have hot food and cold drinks to wet your appetite! All activities are professionally supervised by Park District staff. Parents must accompany their children for check-in and check-out. Schools Out Club
Grades 1-5

Keep your children entertained on days off from school! The program is held at the Rakow Center, which children can be dropped off in the morning and picked up in the afternoon. A variety of activities will be planned for the children including arts & crafts, games, swimming at our indoor pool, videos and field trips. The Park District will provide two treats/drinks during the day. Please send your child with a sack lunch, swim suit and towel. Daily fee includes ticket, transportation fees for all trips, and snacks.

Note: It is very important that your child(ren) arrive at the School’s Out Club no later than 8:30am since many of our trips depart shortly thereafter (pick-up is available after 3pm). Refunds for cancellations will only be issued after all expenses have been covered. NO REFUNDS will be given when cancellations are made the day of attendance.
