Centerville Schoolhouse Programs for Scouts
Visit the Centerville Schoolhouse and get a hands-on educational program that offers a fun take-home project. Choose from the following topics:
Cross-Stitch Sampler
While sewing was important for girls to learn the cross-stitch sampler taught girls their letters as well. Learn basics of cross stitch by making your own schoolhouse sampler to take home and finish.
Reward of Merit
Students of the past enjoyed “reward of merit” cards for jobs well done just as stickers or stars are given today by teachers. Make a reward of merit refrigerator magnet and receive your own compliments from this class.
Fancy Hat Pin Cushion
A pin cushion is a handy thing to have, but this one is extra nice. It includes two wearable pins and is pretty enough to display on your dresser as Victorian women did.
Program maximums range from 10-15 participants and each program is $50. Please call 847-551-4310 for more information and reservations.
