Randall Oaks Zoo

Randall Oaks Zoo is located 2.5 miles North of Interstate 90, just off of Randall Road.

DeerSituated at the top of a hill, Randall Oaks Zoo offers a variety of kid-friendly farm animals for viewing, petting and feeding. A stroll through the barn gives visitors an opportunity to meet alpacas, goats and a few of our other animal friends. Some highlights of the zoo include: cows, mini horses, a Clydesdale, sheep, goats, emus, alpacas, reptiles, deer, rabbits, chickens, pigs, fox and birds, including Red-tailed hawks, peacocks and Great Horned Owls just to name a few. Come and meet all our four-legged, furry and feathered friends! Pony rides are available for $4.50 per person/per ride.

In addition to the Zoo, Randall Oaks Park has 141 acres of open space with three shelters, eight picnic areas, two volleyball courts, three playgrounds and 10-hole disc golf course plus Centerville Schoolhouse Education Tour (reservations only) and hayrides (groups only).

Hours for the 2016 Season

  • Daily: April 9-October 30 / 9:00 am-5:00 pm
  • Weekends Only: October 31-November 27 / 9:00 am-4:00 pm
  • Winter Festival: December 2-4, 9-11 and 16-18 / 10:00 am-7:00 pm

Annual Zoo Membership

Purchase your 2017 annual membership season pass to the zoo between August 1-December 31 to receive a discounted price. With an annual zoo membership you receive unlimited seasonal admission to the Randall Oaks Zoo. This membership is good for up to four people. (Feed bags are not included.) To purchase a membership visit the zoo during operating hours. Or visit the Park Service office at 750 N. Randall Road in West Dundee, Monday-Friday 7:00 am-3:00 pm, or call (847) 551-4310.

Annual Zoo Membership Fee

$60 Resident/$75 Nonresident - If purchased between August 1-December 31, 2016.
$65 Resident/$80 Nonresident - Starting January 1, 2017
$10 Resident /$15 Nonresident each additional member

Guest can pay $1 for a duck feed cup and can feed the ducks.

12:30-1:00 pm Watch the animals get toys and treats. The animals featured daily will be posted at the zoo entrance
