Athletics - Youth
The Dundee Township Park District offers a variety of sports for youth ages 2-17 years old. Our sports programs are ideal for beginners and those with advanced skills. Our individual and team sports focus on building skills and sportsmanship in a positive environment. Activities are available for preschoolers, grade schoolers, and middle schoolers, and are great for building athletic and social skills to last a lifetime.

Each team will have a volunteer parent coach. Parents that are interested in coaching, please contact the Athletic Supervisor at (847) 428-7131.
Fun and skill development will be emphasized. Times, dates, and locations will be provided for the entire season before the first scheduled game.
T-Shirts will be given to 1st-2nd grade and reversible jersey given

Join us for our inaugural winter 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament. All teams are guaranteed 4 games. The format and schedule of the tournament is TBD but will be released on December 2. Players are to sign up individually and list their teammates they wish to play with. If you do not have a team we will form them if possible. T-Shirts will be given to the winners of each age group.

Kindergarten Basketball League 47212
The Dundee Township Park presents our inaugural Kindergarten Basketball League! Designed for our youngest athletes, this league aims to introduce the fundamentals of basketball in a fun and supportive environment. Kids will learn basic skills like dribbling, passing, and teamwork while building confidence and making new friends. The Harry Smart Memorial Youth Basketball Scholarship
The late Harry Smart loved the game of basketball, and Harry enthusiastically supported Dundee Township Park District's efforts to provide a program for youngsters. Harry's family established a scholarship in his name, the funds used to assist youths who might not be able to afford to participate in our basketball league. Should you wish to enroll your son or daughter in youth basketball and utilize scholarship funds, please include a letter along with your registration form letting the Park District know your need.

Pre K - Kindergarten Basketball League
Designed for our youngest athletes, this league aims to introduce the fundamentals of basketball in a fun and supportive environment. Youth Soccer - DTPD Outdoor Fall Program 47186
Players will practice during the week and play games on Saturday. Some weeknight or Sunday games may be necessary. Due to the size of the program, we are unable to honor special requests. Team placements are solely at the discretion of the Dundee Township Park District. Coaches will contact team members prior to the first practice. A special registration form is required and may be picked up at either Recreation Center. Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note that the age requirements have changed and you are able to play up a level if you choose. If you choose to play up a level, you will need to register in person at one of our recreation centers. The DTPD Flag Football League is partnering with Huntley and Hampshire park districts to offer our annual fall program. This program provides an introduction to football and is great for boys and girls who choose not to play tackle football.
The program utilizes many of the guidelines set up by the NFL Flag Football Program while implementing some of our own ideas to help fit the needs of our community. The program’s emphasis is on football’s basic skills, including passing, pass catching, defending and running. Players will also learn about competition and sportsmanship.

Join us for our inaugural winter 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament. All teams are guaranteed 4 games. The format and schedule of the tournament is TBD but will be released on December 2. Kindergarten Basketball League 47212
The Dundee Township Park presents our inaugural Kindergarten Basketball League! Designed for our youngest athletes, this league aims to introduce the fundamentals of basketball in a fun and supportive environment. Kids will learn basic skills like dribbling, passing, and teamwork while building confidence and making new friends. The program will take place on Sundays only and consists of a 20–30-minute practice followed by a 20-minute game. Players are only eligible for this league if they are currently enrolled in Kindergarten.

Archery 45378
Learn the fundamentals of archery in a safe, structured and engaging environment led by a USA Archery Level 4 Certified Instructor and former elite athlete. Participants will learn range safety, shooting technique, equipment handling, aiming fundamentals and target shooting skills. This program is designed for beginners and recreational participants interested in developing archery skills under professional supervision. All equipment is provided, including bows, arrows and targets.

We appreciate your time and willingness to contribute to the community, and we have
a number of ways to help you be successful.
