Position: Parks Division Manager Responsibilities/Requirements: Head up a team of 20 dedicated employees and manage 500 acres in 34 parks. The candidate must be of college graduate caliber with at least 10 years of proven team leading skills in effectively managing maintenance personnel. Experience necessary in turf management, horticulture, silviculture, athletic fields, construction methods and materials, park maintenance, OSHA regulations, budget preparation and administration. Certificates necessary or obtainable in Playground Inspection, Arborist, Pesticide Applicator and CDL. Salary Range: $55,000-$60,000 plus benefits Hours: Full time, year round position Forward work and salary history/requirements to: msimon@dtpd.org or Position: Seasonal Staff- Park Services Location: Park Services 750 Randall Road, West Dundee, IL 60118 Responsibilities/Requirements: Assist with the maintenance of all Park District facilities and parks that could include: mowing, planting of flowers, trees, shrubs, playground mulching, weeding, watering, garbage/litter removal, painting, and janitorial functions. May be required to operate Park District vehicles equipment and tools. Candidate must be 17 years of age and have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record. Must present a positive image. Must be able to read, write and speak the English language fluently. Must be highly motivated to perform manual labor. Hourly Rate: $8.50 Hours: Monday Friday, 6:30 a.m. 3:00 p.m. 40 hours per week.
