About the District

Established in 1952, the Dundee Township Park District, located in Kane County, Illinois serves over 60,000 residents in the communities of Carpentersville, East Dundee, West Dundee, Sleepy Hollow, and portions of Algonquin, Gilberts, Elgin, Barrington Hills, and Hoffman Estates. Dundee Township Park District maintains and operates two fitness centers located at the Rakow Center and Randall Oaks Recreation Center, two golf courses which include Bonnie Dundee and Randall Oaks golf courses, an Adult Activities Center, an outdoor swimming pool, Dolphin Cove Family Aquatic Center, and an indoor pool at the Rakow Center, Randall Oaks Zoo, and 40 park sites and facilities.

We offer hundreds of seasonal programs, including dance, youth sports, tennis, karate, golf, adult and youth leagues, swim lessons, art, fitness, adult day trips, nature classes, and day camps. In addition, we host various special events, many free to the public.
