Dave & Daphne Live from Nashville 49608
In 1998, two powerhouse musicians teamed up and boom—the Dave and Daphne Show was born. Dave Salyer brings world-class guitar skills, country flair, and a dash of humor (seriously, Roy Clark called him one of the best guitarists on the planet). Daphne Anderson delivers gospel roots, award-winning vocals, and jaw-dropping impressions of legends like Tammy Wynette, Patsy Cline, and Loretta Lynn. Together, they’ve rocked thousands of stages with a high-energy mix of country, gospel, patriotic tunes, and blazing banjo and guitar instrumentals. It’s heartfelt, it’s fun, and it’s impossible not to tap your feet. Bonus perks: light refreshments and snacks—because great music is better with treats. Trust us, you don’t want to miss this show!
Mean Girls 49611
Mean Girls is a funny and heartfelt show about Cady Heron, a smart new student who moves from Africa to an Illinois high school. She quickly gets pulled into the world of “The Plastics,” a popular and controlling group led by Regina George. As Cady tries to fit in, she learns how tricky and sometimes harmful popularity can be. Filled with humor, catchy songs, and a strong message about friendship and identity, the story shows how drama and revenge can spiral out of control—but also how people can grow and change. Lunch will be at the Paramount Theatre.
Hayride and Bonfire 49519
This is always a fun time. We hop on the hayride, sing a few songs and go around our Randall Oaks Park and property. After the hayride, there will be a bonfire waiting where we will roast hot dogs and make s’mores. Chips and hot chocolate are included, too. Transportation is ON YOUR OWN, we will be meeting in the Community Shelter parking lot at 1:45 pm. Hope you can join us.
Pullman Neighborhood Tour 49609
Step into Chicago's Pullman District on a guided tour that explores the birthplace of the modern labor movement and the legacy of the Pullman Company. Walk through a beautifully preserved historic neighborhood and learn how its planned community shaped industrial life in America. The tour includes highlights of the Pullman National Historic Park and stories of the workers whose fight for rights changed U.S. history. Lunch which is included with the tour will be at Harborside International Golf Center. This tour is completely a walking tour therefore, there is a very moderate amount of walking, there are stairs and it is steady paced.
