Stay active, make new friends and learn new things at our Adult Activity Center.
The Adult Activity Center in the Rakow Center hosts programs, special events, trips, weekly drop-in activities, arts and crafts, and services designed for adults 50 years and older.
Pancake Breakfast & Bingo 49510
Join us for breakfast and enjoy good food and fellowship in a friendly atmosphere. Breakfast includes 2 pancakes, 2 sausages, fruit and orange juice. Breakfast is served at 9:00 am with penny bingo to follow at 9:30 am.
Hayride and Bonfire 49519
This is always a fun time. We hop on the hayride, sing a few songs and go around our Randall Oaks Park and property. After the hayride, there will be a bonfire waiting where we will roast hot dogs and make s’mores. Chips and hot chocolate are included too. Transportation is on your own, we will be meeting at the Community Shelter. Hope you can join us.
Titanic - The Musical 49571
Titanic. The very name signals one of the most enduring events of the Twentieth Century. TITANIC is the 1997 Broadway Musical that captured five Tony Awards including Best Musical. Soaring songs, grand staging, and a set awash in glorious costumes makes this historic musical a must-see event. It traces the lives of all the varied strata of people uniquely united on that fateful journey, with the central character being the Titanic herself. TITANIC is human drama that explores and reveals individual strength, love, faith, and especially the triumph of human dignity. Do not miss this musical as unforgettable as the historic event itself. Your meal choices are Chicken Waterford, Sliced Pork Tenderloin, Shrimp Tempura or Vegetarian. All entrees served with freshly baked slices of bread, a signature salad, dessert, coffee, tea or milk. He has been performing since the age of 10. Last year Ted was awarded the Rising Legend Award and has performed with Steve Wiesberg, John Denver's lead guitar player from the 70's. There is an uncanny physical resemblance and you will be amazed at how similar he sounds like John Denver. Palatine is joining us.
