Everyone age 50 and older are welcome to join. Stay active and make some new friends. There is a variety of activities to choose from every day. In addition, members receive our bi-monthly newsletter as well as discounts.
Members receive an $8 discount on day trips and a $5 discount on programs.

Day Trips
Take a trip with the Dundee Township Park District and meet some new friends along the way! Adults 50+ years are invited to enjoy trips together, including new experiences, special events, restaurants, persformances, and some overnight trips to exciting locations. We often explore the city of Chicago, suburban areas, and even nearby states. Call for a list of upcoming trips.
Day Trip Refund Policy
Because we must finalize full payment six weeks prior to our event, the following procedures are always in place: If you must cancel your day trip, we will do our best to find a replacement. When a replacement is found, our Park District will issue a full refund. If we do not find a replacement, we are unable to refund your money. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding.

"The Audience" is an enthralling exploration of the delicate balance of power and unspoken rules of engagement that underscore these confidential meetings. Masterfully blending the personal and the political, "The Audience" gives an extraordinary glimpse into the woman behind the crown and the leaders she outlasted. Due to the timing of the show, no lunch is included in this trip. Please consider brown bagging a lunch and eat at the Adult Activities Center.

Rocky Balboa is a small-time Philadelphia boxer who is chosen to take on the reigning world heavyweight champion, Apollo Creed, when the undefeated fighter's scheduled opponent is injured. Just in time for the holidays. Do you need to find something special for those stockings you need to fill? If you do, this tour is for you. We will be stopping at ABT Appliance for a tour that ends in their candy shop and we will all be leaving with a treat. Yum! Misericordia is our next stop where after we have a presentation on the bus, we will go in, look around, shop and get a cup of coffee and leave with a pumpkin bread. Our third stop will be Max and Benny’s Deli where we will have lunch – which is included in the tour price. Our next stops will be Chalet Nursery, Curt’s Café and we will end at Penzy’s Spice House where I am sure you will find something for that someone special. What a full day for us!

Join us for breakfast and enjoy good food and fellowship in a friendly atmosphere. Breakfast includes 2 pancakes, 2 sausages, fruit and orange juice. Breakfast is served at 9:00 am with penny bingo to follow at 9:30 am.
Hayride and Bonfire 49519
This is always a fun time. We hop on the hayride, sing a few songs and go around our Randall Oaks Park and property. After the hayride, there will be a bonfire waiting where we will roast hot dogs and make s’mores. Chips and hot chocolate are included too. Transportation is ON YOUR OWN, we will be meeting in the Community Shelter parking lot at 1:45 pm. Hope you can join us.

Julie from our Parks Department will be leading this class. Create a stunning winter container filled with evergreen branches and holiday décor that will bring winter cheer to your home all season long. Please join us as we give thanks for another great year. You are cordially invited to attend the 50 Plus Social Club Thanksgiving Luncheon. This special event takes place at The Seville, 700 S. Barrington Rd., Streamwood, IL 60107. Doors open at 11:00 am. Lunch is served at 11:30 am. Entertainment will be the one and only Jeff Dewbray. The last day to sign up is Wednesday, November 6, 2024. For this holiday party, we understand that friends want to sit together. To simplify the process, please have a "lead" person's name who the table reservation will be under when registering for the party. You will not be able to be added to a table until payment is made. Tables can be from 10-12 people seated at each table. There will be valet service at The Seville at no cost to you. It is paid for by the 50 Plus Social Club. You may have to wait in line for the service but it is well worth it.

Adult Activities Center Guidelines
The Dundee Township Park District Adult Activities Center endorses and supports a safe, fun, positive, and enriching environment where seniors, age 50 and over, are able to relax, socialize, and participate in recreation activities. Staff and patrons have the responsibility to conduct themselves in a manner that supports this goal.
The nature of this facility is a drop in center with both scheduled and self-directed activities. Our hours of operation are Monday-Friday 8:00 am-3:30 pm.
The following are the Dundee Township Park District Adult Activities Center guidelines while attending activities at the Adult Activities Center:
- The Dundee Township Park District Adult Activities Center staff is on site to provide general supervision and a welcoming environment to all patrons.
- Respectful and appropriate behavior is expected at all times when interacting with other patrons and staff.
- We encourage all patrons to carry current contact information in case of an emergency.
- All patrons are expected to be able to participate in any Dundee Township Park District activities on their own.
- Once scheduled activities begin, those arriving late may not be able to participate. All scheduled activities and times are listed in the Adult Activities Center newsletter.
- The Adult Activities Center does not provide supplies for all activities. Please come prepared with supplies.
- The Dundee Township Park District does not provide personal care to patrons in their progrmas.
- Seniors with caregivers are welcome to participate in Dundee Township Park District Adult Activities Center activities. Caregivers are expected to assist and participate in the program with the participating patron.
If the above guidelines are not followed, the Dundee Township Park District will initiate procedures based upon its patrons behavior and discipline policy.
