The Dundee Township Park District is seeking a dynamic Executive Director to lead a thriving park and recreation system serving approximately 64,000 residents across a diverse 36-square-mile region in Kane County.

The District operates more than 40 parks and facilities, including recreation centers, golf courses, aquatic facilities, an Adult Activities Center, and the beloved Randall Oaks Zoo. Through hundreds of programs and events each year, the District plays a vital role in enhancing community health, fostering connection, and improving quality of life.

Position Overview
The Executive Director serves as the chief administrative and executive officer of the District, reporting directly to the Board of Commissioners. This at-will position is responsible for providing overall leadership, strategic direction, and operational oversight in alignment with Board policies and Illinois statutes. The Executive Director ensures the effective management of all District operations while advancing the organization’s mission, strengthening community relationships, and positioning the District for continued success.
