Circle of Friends (Before/After School Care)
Kindergarten-Grade 5
Circle of Friends is a before/after school program for children in Kindergarten-fifth grade. It provides a safe, supervised environment where children may socialize, play or do homework.
Preschool & Pre-Kindergarten
Ages 3-5 years
Children in our preschool program are actively involved in a curriculum that stresses the social, emotional, physical, and academic aspects of their development. Younger children are taught skills for building strong self-reliance and positive social interaction. Children ages 4-5 prepare for kindergarten through exposure to various academic units. Our professional staff of teachers and aides have a common goal: to provide children with an atmosphere in which they can develop a positive view of themselves, which could help them in the years ahead.
School's Out Club
Grades K-5
Keep your children entertained on days off from school with this program! School's Out Club is held at the Rakow Center, where children will spend the day in a camp-like setting. Various activities will be planned for the children, including field trips, arts and crafts, games, and swimming at our indoor pool.

PARENTS: need a night out? Are your kids between the ages of 8-12?? Then, sign them up for the new and improved SAT LIVE. Activities offered: swimming, sports, main activity, game room, gaga ball, concessions* and drop-in craft activities each week. There is something for everyone! Pre-registration is required. Registration closes at 4:00 pm on the day of the event (Only online registration is available between 12-4pm on the day of). An adult must sign-in and sign-out child. Please be prepared to show an ID. *Pizza, candy, chips and drinks are available for an additional charge.
Winter Break Zoo Camp 48355
Join us this winter break for Zoo Camp! Visit with all of the Zoo's critters, while creating works of art, shadowing the animal keepers, and making fun enrichment creations for the animals. Bring a lunch and a drink, and dress for the weather. We will be outside every day.
School's Out Club: Break Weeks 55220
Keep your children entertained on days off from school with this program! School's Out Club is held at the Rakow Center, where children will spend the day in a camp-like setting. A variety of activities will be planned for the children including in-house entertainment or field trips, arts & crafts, games, and swimming at our indoor pool. Plan on children to be off-site between 9:00 am-3:00 pm. Please send your child with a sack lunch, a swimsuit and a towel. Questions? Call (847) 428-7131. Refunds for cancellations will only be issued after all expenses have been covered. No refunds will be given when cancellations are made on or after the day of attendance.
