COVID-19 Updates

At the Dundee Township Park District, the safety and well-being of our members, staff, and participants has and always will be our top priority. Our COVID-19 safety decisions are made based on guidance from the CDC, Illinois Department of Public Health and local health experts.

The District plans to continue to follow and implement guidance given by the state and local agencies regarding masking. The Governor plans to lift the current indoor mask mandate as of February 28, 2022. The Park District plans to go to a mask-recommended environment which means the DTPD strongly recommends, but will not require, wearing an appropriate face-covering per CDC guidance. The mask-recommended environment applies to both patrons and staff.  As masking requirements change the Park District plans to move forward with the changes available to the District. We ask that all patrons, participants, and employees respect all individuals and their choices.

CDC continues to encourage and recommend wearing a mask as a measure to protect yourself and others. Wearing a mask may be required when participating in some agency led programming, such as trips to venues that require a mask or transportation. Participants will be responsible to comply with these requirements when noted.

As our policies continue to evolve, we will share any potential policy updates as quickly as it is safe and practical to do so. I appreciate everyone’s understanding and support to help us all stay healthy together!
