Discovery Day Camp | Grades K-1

Designed especially for young campers, Discovery Day Camp introduces younger elementary school-aged children to the camp experience. With themed activities tailored to this age group, children will explore, learn, play and make new friends! Camp meets rain or shine. Campers should bring their own lunch and refillable water bottle each day.

Drop off is downstairs in the preschool room for Rakow Center location.

Discovery Camp at Rakow Center

Fee: $200 Resident/$230 Nonresident (Includes Swim Lessons)
Week 9 Fee: $179 Resident/$209 Nonresident (No Swim Lesssons)

Sibling Discount

A 10% sibling discount is available to families who register for Discovery Day Camp, Day Camp, Middle School Recreation, and/or Sports Camp. Specialty camps are not included. This discount will also apply if a family has children in two different camps, for example, Sports Camp and Day Camp. The Discount does not apply to Camp Care.

Payment Plan

Camp Installment Billing is an option for your summer camp registrations. A one-time $10.00 fee will be assessed at the time of registration. During registration, the first week of camp attendance will be paid for up front; your credit/debit card on file will be charged the Monday before the next week of camp attendance. Note no online registration if using the payment plan.

Refunds/Transfers

Refund or transfer requests must be submitted by 5:00 pm the Wednesday before camp begins. A processing fee will be withheld for each refund request.

Swim lessons included during the camp day at the indoor pool (no lessons week 9). Camp meets rain or shine. Campers should bring their own lunch and refillable water bottle each day.
