Rakow Center
The Rakow Center is celebrating its 30th anniversary this September and we want you to come help celebrate. We will have totally free activities, a rad fitness special, and bodacious food trucks. Join us on Saturday, September 7 from 1:00-4:00 pm at the Rakow Center (665 Barrington Ave., Carpentersville).
Free Activities
Activities Include:
- Climbing Tree
- Inflatable Obstacle Course
- Group Exercise Sessions Every ½ Hour
- NEW Lü Interactive - Come try out our new interactive game system. Lü is an interactive playground that uses lights, sounds, and video to transform any gym into an engaging, immersive video game.
- Dodgeball Tournament
- Walleyball Open Play
- Open Swim
- Knockout Game
- RC Juggles Entertainment
- Balloon Sculpting 1:00-3:00 pm
- Strolling Magician 1:30-3:30 pm
- Face Painting 2:00-4:00 pm
Fitness Special
On September 7 from 1:00-4:00 pm, any resident that purchases a one-year fitness membership will pay the 1989 individual resident price.
Fee: $129 per individual (resident)*
*Restrictions: New Fitness Members Only (New members are considered those that have not had a membership within the last six months at the Dundee Township Park District.) Must be paid in full at time of purchase. Offer only applies to residents of the Dundee Township Park District. No Refunds, may not be redeemed for cash. Offer only valid from September 7, 2019, from 1:00-4:00 pm at the Rakow Center (only). Once the one-year fitness membership expires, renewal fees will be at the normal price.
