Exciting Improvements Coming to Huffman Park

The Dundee Township Park District is excited to announce plans to expand recreational opportunities at Huffman Park to meet the growing demand for pickleball in our community.

Approved by the Board of Commissioners, the project will convert two existing tennis courts into six dedicated pickleball courts while maintaining one dedicated tennis court. The tennis court will not include pickleball striping, and a new fence will separate the tennis and pickleball areas to enhance the playing experience for all users.

These improvements will provide additional space for one of the fastest-growing sports in the country while continuing to offer quality tennis facilities for residents and visitors.

Construction is expected to begin soon, with completion anticipated by late fall. The new courts are expected to be ready for play later this season.

We appreciate the support of our Board of Commissioners for making this enhancement possible and thank our residents for their patience during construction. We look forward to welcoming players to the new courts once the project is complete.
