Board members sworn in, officers elected

The five-member Dundee Township Park District Board of Commissioners elected its new officers last night at its regular board meeting.
- Frank Scarpelli – President
- Erin O’Leary – Vice President
- Jim Bonkoski – Treasurer
- Pam Griffin – Secretary
- John Meschewski – Commissioner
Additionally, two commissioners were sworn in for another 6-year term after being re-elected in April. They were Erin O’Leary and John Meschewski.
The residents of Dundee Township elect board commissioners that are responsible for setting policies that benefit the park district and the community. The board adopts a budget, levies property taxes, and is responsible for hiring and evaluating the executive director. All commissioners are elected at-large and serve without compensation.
