We often explore the city of Chicago, suburban areas, and even nearby states. With the historic Bourbon Room as the backdrop, their love story unfolds right where the biggest names in rock got their start - all told through the mindblowing hits of Journey, Bon Jovi, Styx, Poison and more. Paramount Theatre’s Rock of Ages will take you back into the iconic music era of the 80’s. Transportation is ON YOUR OWN to Paramount Theatre, 23 E. Galena Blvd., Aurora IL 60506. Paramount’s COVID-19 current protocols require ALL INDIVIDUALS regardless of age to present proof of full vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test to attend any performance. In order to attend a show ALL individuals including teens and children must be fully vaccinated and must show proof of vaccination at their time of entry into the building along with their valid ticket & a government issued ID or a negative Covid test taken within 72 hours of the start of the performance. If we should have inclement weather on any of the walking club dates, we will walk indoors. Transportation will be provided by park district vehicles. On the last date, we will meet at the Adult Activities Center at 9:30 am, walk and then have lunch together. The walking club dates are: 5/9, 6/13, 7/11, 8/8, 9/12 and 10/10. 29539-00 May 9-October 10 M/7:30-10:00 am* $35 RAAC Oneida Overnight Green Bay, WI & Door County Do not miss this trip up to beautiful Door County and Green Bay, WI. We will have lunch at the Horse & Plow restaurant and then visit the Kohler Design Center museum before continuing on to the newly renovated Radisson Hotel and Oneida Casino. Day two we will board our private trolley to take in the beautiful highlights of Door County. Tour a historic lighthouse, visit a local market and shops. On the way back to our hotel we will visit a local winery. Day three we head to the National Railroad Museum, home to the “Big Boy,” the world’s largest steam locomotive. We will have a guided tour, ride one of the trains, and have a “hobo” lunch. On our way home, we will stop at the Mars Cheese Castle. $50 deposit is due at registration and payment in full is due by April 1, 2022.
