Adults 50+ years are invited to enjoy trips together to enjoy new experiences, special events, restaurants, performances, and some overnight trips to exciting locations. We often explore the city of Chicago, suburban areas, and even nearby states. Our trips happen year-round, so take a look and get ready to explore with us! Please arrive a half hour prior to the start time listed. Buses and Park District vans will depart on time! Day Trips Mirror of Mathis Christmas Show Jacob Henry Mansion – Joliet Get into the holiday spirit with an incredible live performance of “Mirror of Mathis.”David Robbins and his 5-piece orchestra will be performing some holiday songs along with many of the popular Johnny Mathis hits that have warmed your hearts throughout the years. Lunch will be your choice of traditional turkey and dressing, cranberry compote, steamed vegetables, or chicken apricot with the chef ’s choice of starch and vegetables.
