School's Out Club

(Grades K-5) | 7:00 am-6:00 pm | Rakow Center

Does your child have a day off school, but you have to work? Send them to us for School’s Out Club, and they’ll spend an action-packed, fun-filled day in a camp-like setting.

They will enjoy a variety of activities, including field trips, arts and crafts, games, and swimming at our indoor pool.

DROP-OFF: Between 7:00-8:45 am

PICK-UP: Between 3:00-6:00 pm

Fees 2025-2026 School Year:

Fee Per Day: $55(Resident)/$75(Nonresident)*
Fee Per Day: if registering for the full week of break weeks: $50(Resident)/$70(Nonresident)*

Fees increase $5 per day if registering less than 7 days prior to program date. *Circle of Friends participants receive resident rates for School's Out Club. Must register in person to receive resident rates.

Sack lunch
Swimsuit & towel
Signed in/out daily at the Carpentersville Room (lower level of the Rakow Center) by an adult/authorized person
Sign a waiver as needed for certain field trips
A completed Medication and Dispensing Form for children that require medication or use of an inhaler.

Not Recommended

The park district is not responsible for personal items and discourages your child from bringing items

Parents/Guardians

Allow a few minutes to check in and sign forms when dropping of your child.
Dates are subject to change based on the Community Unit School District 300

Refunds for same day and late cancellations will not be issued. Refunds for advanced cancellations will be issued after all expenses have been covered.

Keep your children entertained on days off from school with this program! School's Out Club is held at the Rakow Center, where children will spend the day in a camp-like setting. A variety of activities will be planned for the children including in-house entertainment or field trips, arts & crafts, games, and swimming at our indoor pool. Plan on children to be off-site between 9:00 am-3:00 pm. Please send your child with a sack lunch, a swimsuit and a towel. Questions? Call (847) 428-7131. Refunds for cancellations will only be issued after all expenses have been covered. No refunds will be given when cancellations are made on or after the day of attendance.
