Winter Break Zoo Camp 48355
Don't sit around this winter break. Get out and have some fun by making new animal and people friends! Visit with rabbits, cows, goats, lizards, and chickens. Make art, play on the zip lines at the "Hidden Playground," and feed lots of animals! Bring a lunch and a drink, and dress for the weather. We will be outside every day.

Class begins with a center warm-up and progresses to steps across the floor, combinations, and repetitive exercises. This class will create a strong foundation for the beginner dancer.

Horsemanship for Kids 14230
Join in the fun with beginning riding lessons! Participants will explore the proper ways to groom, tack and handle horses. In the saddle, you will learn the basics of riding at the walk and trot. Children's Theater- Shrek the Musical Jr 14280
It's a 'big bright beautiful world" as everyone's favorite ogre, Shrek, leads a cast of fairytale misfits on an adventure to rescue a princess and find true acceptance. Part romance and part twisted fairy tale, Shrek Jr. is a fun show with a powerful message. This is a tuition-based program, where all actors are assigned parts based on their auditions. Students will study the work of the actor/singer/dancer and use their gained knowledge to develop as performers. Rehearsals will take place on Thursday evenings once a week. Tech week will take place the week of March 11 - 14; with live performances on Friday, March 15 at 7:00 pm, and Saturday, March 16 at 2:00 pm on stage at the Rakow Adult Activities Center. Online Magic Class 14183
Professional magician Gary Kantor now teaches his popular magic class ONLINE. This 45-minute online class teaches children how to perform a number of mind-boggling tricks using everyday household items. Gary will start by explaining the secrets to the tricks, and then both Gary and the children will practice everything in great detail. The children will have a blast as they learn exactly what to say and do when performing in front of an audience. And since this class is online, it can be taken whenever it is convenient for your schedule. The 45-minute video can be watched again and again. Your entire family can even take this class together! ONLINE BALLOON ANIMAL WORKSHOP! Professional balloon artist Gary Kantor introduces a 45-minute online class that teaches children the techniques needed to take plain balloons and transform them into incredible balloon animals (like dogs, butterflies, fish, etc.). During assessments Coach's will determine what skill level athlete are at to ensure they are in the correct level tumbling class. The Isshinryu Karate class is a legacy program that has been with the Dundee Park District since 1976! This program is designed for anyone interested in learning the fundamental principles of karate. Isshinryu is a traditional Okinawan style of karate that emphasizes self-defense, discipline, and respect for oneself and others. Our experienced instructors, John Shaw and Rick Fryer, guide students through various kicking, punching, and striking techniques, as well as help them develop focus, balance, coordination, and confidence. The class is designed to be fun and engaging, while also instilling important life skills that can be applied both in and outside the dojo. We are challenging you to design and build a human-powered cardboard boat capable of racing 50 yards. All boats must be designed and constructed before race day and may be powered by canoe/kayak paddles or muscle power! Once registration closes on February 10, all registrants will receive a list of rules and accepted materials. Open swim to follow after the races. Fee is per boat.

Cookies, Cocoa and Holiday Cheer await as we bring in the Holiday season. This year we will be inside the Randall Oaks Golf Club to enjoy a visit with Santa! Youth Soccer DTPD - Spring Program Outdoor 27186
Practices for this league are held on weeknights; game days are Saturdays with the possibility of a weeknight game. Team placements are solely at the discretion of the Dundee Township Park District. Coaches will contact players by the first week of April. There is NO guarantee that your friendship request will be fulfilled. The friend must also request you back. Shin guards are mandatory (not provided), soccer shoes are optional but recommended. REGISTRATION is on a first-come, first-served basis; divisions may fill up quickly so be sure to sign up early. This program will focus on the fundamentals of soccer. Each participant will be assigned to a team with a volunteer parent coach. Players will learn rules and focus on developing soccer skills. Instructional games will be held on Saturdays. Practices will be assigned for one day during the week beginning April 8 (weather permitting). Instructional games will be scheduled on Saturdays. Your child's assigned coach will contact you regarding practice times and game schedule. Uniforms: Shin guards are mandatory but not provided. Soccer cleats are optional but recommended. Jersey and socks included in the fee. For those interested in seeing a jersey, RORC and the Rakow Center have sample sizes available.
